New alliance announced

Tenon Recovery have entered into an alliance with two local specialist businesses to provide a new and enhanced service to business owners facing difficulties.

Tenon are one of the country’s leading financial and insolvency practitioners, and Mark Liddle of their Bournemouth office has been concerned at the number of entrepreneurs he sees who find it difficult to move forward after a financial crisis. “Too many of the people I see run companies which could be highly successful if only they could access the right advice and support.” He said. “Tenon can help them get back on their feet again, after all we are primarily a recovery not insolvency business, but this new alliance will help them enormously.”

The Business Explorer is a New Milton based business planning practice. They see their link with Tenon as valuable to the economy of the area. “If we can help companies in difficulty to plan strategically and properly manage their finances in the future, avoiding cash flow problems and minimising bad debts, the chances of success and therefore security for both the workforce and the local supply chain improves dramatically”, said managing director Ian Thurgood.

The third partner is Bournemouth based Winningbusiness, a consultancy which specialises in coaching successful companies across the region in non-financial planning and growth management. David Foster, managing director of Winningbusiness and junior vice-president of Dorset Business, said “great business leaders understand their processes, their markets and their people, and plan effective and profitable sales growth. There is no reason why someone whose business has been through a crisis should not go on to be highly successful with the right support and encouragement.”

This alliance enables companies who face a crisis to either avoid insolvency, or work through an insolvent situation, and the partners are now working closely with a number of banks and accountants to put local businesses back on the tracks quickly and effectively.
