David Foster FRSA, FinstIB, MIoD, DipBEx

David’s background includes banking, industrial finance, sales and manufacturing. A former managing director of a plastics company and head of business services for an enterprise board, David has a wealth of experience with a broad range of organisations.

He has a Diploma in Business Excellence from Newcastle College, is a former Lead Assessor for the Modernising Government Awards and Senior Assessor for Midlands Excellence, and was an Investors in People advisor for 12 years.

David was one of the first to be made a Fellow of the Institute for Independent Business. He was Vice-President of Dorset Business, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for 2 years, is an active member of several other business organisations and has chaired a number of business clubs and associations. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
